The staff was excellent. the place was fairly clean. - the room was nicely refurbished and with a shower. - the location, only a short distance to the city centre, was beautiful. - Terrific restaurant provided French dishes. Overall, Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Middelburg in Middelburg offers excellent service from a friendly staff, a clean environment, upgraded rooms with showers, a beautiful location near the city center.

Clean and convenient hotel with great and perfect location close to the city center.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station and Middelburg for cycling trips around Zeeland. The unit we stayed in was tidy and bright, featuring beautiful roses, a shower, and comfortable beds.

Get what you pay for, if you want a reasonable budget hotel in the city centre then this is just about ok

Breakfast was very poor, paper thin walls, virtually unventilated bathroom, mattresses softest in Europe

Convenient location, just a short 10-minute walk to the city center. Being near a train station is a big plus for getting around easily. Lots of great dining options to choose from, which is awesome! 🍽️

Great and absolutely perfect location, easy walk to everywhere. Pretty nice area not far from half hourly direct Trains to Vlissingen or Amsterdam/Rotterdam/Den Haag, and the city centre and the train station. Lots of fabulous food for meals.

too expensive for an outdated room, that needs refurbishment, too basic. not good value for money! Outside of building could use some attention too

Some of the rooms of the hotel are literally a disaster. Room 405 is small and looks just ok, but the walls are paper-thin. I could hear people snoring and passing wind from the two neighbouring rooms. It was impossible to sleep!!

I recently stayed at Fletcher Hotel in Middelburg for a short business trip. The location was perfect, with easy access to the railway station and the picturesque canal. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast selection was the best I've had in the Netherlands. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. a great experience!

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

Small and very old rooms, no facilities, expensive rates

the hotel was very central to Middelburg so was in an ideal position for shops and restaurants. there were good bikes for hire on site.

the bedroom was too small for two people. The shower was broken and not repaired when we reported it. there was not enough bedding. Generally the building had been divided into small rooms and the walls were too thin, I was kept awake by the man snoring in the next room! The.bathroom was freezing and had no heating.
